Len Tiscio

Len Tiscio of Lake Harmony passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, in his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was the husband of Mary (McGinley) Tiscio.
He was employed by Diebold, Inc., before retiring in 2013.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Michael and Irene (Rendish) Tiscio.
He was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, and Belnap College in New Hampshire.
Tiscio was a past member of the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad and Ambulance Corps; a past assistant fire chief of Lake Harmony Fire Department; and a member of the Environmental Advisory Council of Kidder Township and the Split Rock Cottage Owners.
The deceased was an avid skier and an amateur meteorologist and astronomer. He enjoyed nature and protecting it; loved boating; and was passionate about music.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Bryan; a daughter, Bridget (Tiscio) Staffaroni; a son-in-law Peter; two grandsons, Gavin and Hunter Staffaroni; a sister, Paula (Tiscio) Burkhardt, and her husband, Lester; a nephew, Charles Cavallo, and his wife, Colleen; two nieces, Brittany and Abigail; a grandniece Melody; a brother-in-law, Dennis McGinley; two nephews, James McGinley and Dennis McGinley, and his wife, Nicole; and a grandnephew Aiden. 
He was also preceded in death by a brother Michael.
Service: Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, David J. Stianche Funeral Home, 123 Center St., Jim Thorpe. Call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
