Robert C. Trice

 Robert C. Trice, 83, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 25, in the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Convalescent Center, Mahoning Valley.


He was the husband of the late Margaret (Kutzko) Trice, who passed away Aug. 13, 2013.


He was a life long resident of Jim Thorpe.


Robert served in the Korean War serving with the U.S. Navy on the USS Van Valkenburg.


He was employed by Conrail for 39 years before retiring.


He was a member of the Mauch Chunk Rod and Gun Club and also a member of the "Liars Club" which met at Bobs in Jim Thorpe for coffee and discussion.


He is survived by his sons Kevin, and his wife Nancy, of Jim Thorpe, David, and his wife Grace, Carl, and his wife Donna, and Larry, all in California; brothers Edward, and his wife Pat, and Thomas, and his wife Rose; four grandchildren Chery, Tiffany, Amanda and Justin; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 
He was predeceased by sisters Betty Thomas and Mildred Reis; a son Robert Jr.; and a grandson Kevin.


Graveside Services will be held Saturday September 2, 2017 at 11am in St Cyril Methodious Cemetery Nesquehoning With Rev. James Ward officiating. Military Honors at the cemetery only. There are no calling hours.
