Virginia L. Fitzgerald

Virginia L. Fitzgerald of Jim Thorpe passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, in her home surrounded by her family. 
Her husband Kenneth L., passed in 2011. 
Virginia was born in Davenport, Oklahoma on Sept. 16, 1930. She was a daughter of the late John W. and Esther M. (Tacker) Beaird.
Virginia was a member of Grace Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Jim Thorpe.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Yanity and her husband Jack of Jim Thorpe, and Judy Rutledge and her husband Tim of Cookville, Texas; a son John Fitzgerald and his wife Janice of Mountain View, Arkansas; a sister Imogene Rude in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. 
She was predeceased by a sister Maxene Jones.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Grace St. Paul United Methodist Church 40 Church Road, Jim Thorpe. Call 9 a.m. until the time of the services in church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Jim Thorpe. David J. Stianche Funeral Home Jim Thorpe has been entrusted with Virginia's arrangements.
