Anna (Coll) Simmons

Anna E Simmons 87, of Jim Thorpe passed away January 31, 2024 in St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital Coaldale. She was the widow of Barry Simmons.

Anna was born September 13, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Charles E Coll and Martha (Penberth) Coll.

Anna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her children, John McGowan, and his wife, Dorothy of Nesquehoning, Frank Tongue, and wife, April of Lansford, Barry, Simmons of Jim Thorpe, Susan Tongue of Jim Thorpe. 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. A sister, Esther McGowan, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Patricia Bealla, Gail Rhyder and one grandson.

Services will be private.
