David Meeker Obituary

David L. Meeker of Jim Thorpe passed away Saturday April 24, 2021 in St. Lukes Hospital Bethlehem campus. He was the husband of Karen (Knox) Meeker. The couple celebrated their 20th Wedding anniversary this past March

Born in Montclair NJ January 5, 1955, he was a son to the late Charles Sr. and Gertrude Riker Meeker.

He was a graduate of Weatherly High School and attended Luzerne College before joining the US Navy.

He was employed by Jim Thorpe School District as a Custodian for many years before retiring in 2015.

Surviving in addition to his wife Karen are a daughter Stacy Anthony and her husband Seth of Harrisburg and a son Michael Meeker and his wife Kimberly of West Lawn, PA. Step Daughter Sarah Potter and her husband Sean of Jim Thorpe. Grandchildren Emma and Harper Meeker. Brother Charles Meeker Jr. of Whiting, NJ and Alan Meeker of Toms River, NJ. A sister Janice Terrell of Granbury, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
