Dean G. George of Albrightsville passed away Monday March 23 in St. Lukes Hospital Gnaden Huetten Campus. He was the husband of Ellen M. (Whalen) George. The couple celebrated their 30th Anniversary.
Born in Lilly, PA October 28, 1939 he was a son to the late Dean and Margaret (McEwan) George.
He was an Army and Airforce veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.
He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony.
He was employed by Delta Airlines for 30 years as a passenger service agent before retiring.
Surviving in addition to his wife Ellen are a daughter Aisling George at home. Son Jon in North Dakota. Sisters Anita Mello, Joyce George, Judy Riccardi and Janice George all of Philadelphia. Patricia Sannani and her husband James of Philadelphia. Theresa O’Brein and her husband of Philadelphia.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
