Dolores G. (Herman) Feller

Dolores G. Feller, a beloved mother, grandmother, and matriarch, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, in Lehighton, PA. Born on January 20, 1932, in Mauch Chunk, PA, Dolores lived a life full of love, joy, and warmth. She was the wife of Dale Feller who passed in April 2002. 

She was the proud mother of ten children: Debbie, Diane, Darlene, Denise, Anne, David, Danny, Donny, Butch, and Doug. Sister Beatrice Getz. 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Helena Shaffron. Dolores was renowned for her culinary skills, especially her baking. She could often be found by the coal stove, crafting fresh baked bread, sticky buns, and her famous molasses crumb pie. 

Dolores was most proud of her family, often boasting about her ten children. Always ready with a stash of pictures to share, she was the heart and soul of her family. Her love and devotion to her family made her the irreplaceable matriarch of a small army. Dolores will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Jim Thorpe.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tues- day August 1, 2023 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jim Thorpe at 11am with Father Ronald Minner officiating. Calling hour 10am until the time of mass in church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
