Obituary
Edith C. Fritz 90, formally of Jim Thorpe, passed away Thursday May 19, 2022 at the Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Lehighton, Pa. She was the widow of Joseph Frantz formally of Jim Thorpe.
Born in Tamaqua, Pa she was the daughter of Bert and Helen Balliet. Preceding in death is her sister Jean Mokshetski husband Pete, of Nesquehoning, Pa.
Edith cleaned homes and business in the area for many years. She was was a avid fan of everything Elvis Presley, crocheting and taking walks around her small town visiting the shops. She loved telling jokes and her sense of humor was like no other. Everyone that knew her loved her and chances are if you ever meet her you would never forget her. She had a heart of gold willing to help anyone.
She is surviving by her daughter Tawney Frantz husband Jeffrey of Jim Thorpe and sons Timothy and Thomas Frantz of Jim Thorpe. Grandchildren Bryan Hunsicker and Jessica Yeakel of Jim Thorpe, and Sarah Miller husband Mark of Lehighton. Great Grand Children Gage and Caylin Hunsicker, Novalee Yeakel and Owen Miller.
A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later time. There are no calling hours.
Memorials in her name can be made to Stianche Funeral Home.
