Eric Sokol Obituary

Eric T. Sokol, 32 of Slatington and Jim Thorpe passed away suddenly at home in Slatington on December 15, 2018.

Born in Allentown July 8, 1986 to his mother Sandra Fien in Jim Thorpe and his father Thomas Sokol in Slatington.

He was graduate of Jim Thorpe High School class of 2004. He then. Attended Luzerne County Community College earning his degree as a recording engineer.

Eric loved anything musical and was an accomplished musician. He was well versed in the recording and entertainment industry. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing the Friday Night No Tap league at the Slatebowl in Slatington. He also enjoyed playing flag football.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his Maternal grandmother Mary Fien living in Allentown. His sister Sylvia Doran and her husband Micheal in North Wales, PA. Step Brother Tyler Roberts in Slatington, PA. Aunt Janet Batchelder in Lansford. Uncle Dave Sokol in Bowmanstown. Uncle Theodore Fien Jr. in Allentown.

Services will be Saturday December 22, 2018 in the David J. Stianche Funeral Home 123 Center St. Jim Thorpe at 3pm. Calling 1-3pm Saturday in the funeral home.
