Lou Anne Burak of Jim Thorpe passed away Monday June 6, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital Carbon Campus. She was the wife of Robert “Bob” Burak. The couple celebrated there 44th wedding anniversary this past January.
Born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania August 14, 1958 she was a daughter to Harry L. Wine and Elizabeth Lamaina Kister.
She worked in retail for many years for Family Dollar and was also a foster mom.She was a great mom mom and loving and caring person, she will be missed terribly. Her family and friends will miss her Tarot readings.
She is survive by her sons Michael of Whitehall PA. Jonathan of Albrightsville. Sisters Nancy,Angel, and Rosemary. Brother Ricky and 11 grand children and her daughter in law Tina Burak.
LouAnn was predeceased by her son Jason who passed in 2015. And a sister Marilyn.
Services will be private, there are no calling hours.
