Margaret Peggy Morrison

Margaret “Peggy” L. Morrison of Albrightsville passed away Thursday, October 20 in St. Lukes Hospital Carbon Campus, Lehighton. She was the wife of Richard Morrison. The couple celebrated their 25th  Wedding anniversary May 17. 

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, January 12, 1962 she was a daughter to the late James and Margaret (Rennix) Krieger. 

Peggy has held many positions but her favorite was working with her sister-in-law as an administrative assistant with Jerry’s Paving, Holland, PA. 

She was of the Catholic faith.

Peggy loved her family and especially loved riding on the back of her husbands Harley. 

Surviving in addition to her husband, Richard are her daughters, Gina Marie Plummer, and her fiancé Jerrod of Jim Thorpe. Jennifer Nicole Rex, and her husband, Scott of Lehighton. A son, Joseph Plummer, and his companion, Samantha Putnam of Whitehaven. Brothers, James “Jimmy” Krieger of Philadelphia, Joseph Krieger  and William “Bill” Krieger both of Springfield, Missouri.  Sister Lisa McGrath and her husband Jim of Philadelphia. Brother Robert Krieger and his wife Lynn of Levittown PA. Six grandchildren Megan O’Connell, Jerrod Payne, Kaitlyn Plummer, Austin Rex, Matthew Rex and Penelope Rose Plummer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 28 in Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe at 11 AM. Calling hours are in the David J. Stianche Funeral Home Friday, October 28 from 930 until 10:30 AM. Interment will  follow in Saint Pauls Cemetery, Albrightsville,Pennsylvania.
