Maureen Hoppes

Maureen J. Hoppes of Jim Thorpe passed away Monday December 28, 2020 in St. Lukes Hospital Lehighton.

She was the wife of Elmer Hoppes. The couple celebrated their 55th Wedding anniversary

Born in Palmerton September 16, 1945, she was a daughter to the late John and Anna (Stanche) Kostishion.

Her favorite moments were those spent surrounded by her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband Elmer are a daughter Amy and her Husband Frank Lorah of Jim Thorpe. Two sons Jason and his wife Denise of Fawn Grove, PA.  Jeffrey and his wife Heather of Mountain Top, PA.  Brother Edward and his wife Kay in Florida. Sisters Marianne Lauer of Jim Thorpe and Ann “Nan” Kostishion of Lehighton. Grandchildren Jordan Lorah, Ian Hoppes, Jolie Hoppes and Alex Hoppes.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday December 31, 2020 in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10am. Calling hour 9am until the time of the services in church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. All Covid-19 protocol will be followed.
