Michael Steven Wasko, 42, of Albrightsville, PA, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in his home in Jim Thorpe, PA.
Born in Pocono Hospital on November 2,1978, he was the son of the late Leon Wasko and Joyce (Fogarty) Wasko.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his son, Atreyu Wasko, his brother Nikolas and his wife Melissa (Fox) Wasko and their children Leah and Ella and his sister, Kristina and her husband Scott Miller and their children John, Joseph, James and Katharine Brooke.
Michael was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School where he could be found making all the teachers and students laugh and where he was an exceptional baseball player. He loved sports and never missed a Yankee game. He loved his Eagles and Notre Dame football was in his blood. Michael loved nature and was an avid hiker. He LOVED music and he was a self-taught musician and had an amazing singing voice just like his grandpop, Jack. Mike loved being a father and he lived for his son Trey. If they weren't hiking in the woods, then they were making a VW bus out of a cardboard box or they were making music for their YouTube channel. Mike was an amazing father, son, brother and friend. He truly was the most nonjudgmental, loving man who would give you the shirt off his back and he will be missed forever.
Services will be private and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
