Paula "Jackie" Solski, a beloved member of the Jim Thorpe community, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023 in Bethlehem, PA. Born on December 8, 1933, in Lehighton, a daughter to Paul and Ada (Zeigenfuss) Fritzinger. She was the beloved wife of John Solski for 54 years who passed away on December 9, 2011. She was also a cherished sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Paula was an epitome of warmth and kindness, often lighting up any room with her humor. Known for her friendly demeanor, she had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her strength and inspiring those around her.
She was a lifelong member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Jim Thorpe.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Dolores Solt, Marian Pudvah, Nancy Trevena, Gail Fritzinger, and a brother Paul Fritzinger, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Howard Fritzinger and a sister Joyce Behler.
Her vibrant spirit, laughter, and love of life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her. Paula’s legacy of friendship, laughter, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday September 6, 2023 in the David J. Stianche Funeral Home 123 Center Street Jim Thorpe, 9am until 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jim Thorpe at 11am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
